A typical case of ‘Wish I’d Been There’ … this would’ve been a FvB dream gig: being one of the designers chosen to create a piece for the paper couture exhibition presented by fabulous Italien paper company Fedrigoni during Vienna Design Week!
Fashion designers from Austria and abroad conceived fascinating avant-garde paper couture creations and visitors were surprised at the versatility and beauty of paper and also superlative handicraft in this specially organised showcase. According to project manager Sandra Schmidt, creative freedom was the key to this project and participating designers were able to choose from the abundance of Fedrigoni papers (ahhhhhhhhh!) to expermiment with different techniques including combining paper with textiles- with stunning results.
Please Fedrigoni, PICK ME PICK ME PICK ME next time, I would be in heaven.
